시네마테크 서울아트시네마는 대한민국 외교부와 함께 5월 1일(목)부터 7일(수)까지 “포르투갈어권 영화제”를 개최합니다. 포르투갈어권 국가들의 다양한 영화 아홉 편을 소개하는 이번 영화제는 한국에서는 처음으로 열리는 행사로, 포르투갈과 브라질의 영화는 물론 기니비사우, 동티모르, 모잠비크, 앙골라 등 아직은 우리에게 낯선 나라의 영화들을 모두 무료로 만나볼 수 있습니다. 현재 전 세계에서 일곱 번째로 많은 사람들이 사용하고 있는 포르투갈어는 그 긴 역사와 함께 다양하고 풍성한 문화의 토양 역할을 해왔습니다. 그중 이번 영화제에서는 포르투갈을 비롯해 포르투갈어를 공용어로 쓰는 나라의 영화들을 만나볼 수 있습니다. 이들 국가들의 영화는 뛰어난 미학적 성취에도 불구하고 상업적인 배급을 통해서는 국내에 전혀 소개되지 않은 영화들입니다. 이번 영화제는 포르투갈어권 국가들의 사회적, 문화적, 그리고 역사적 주제들을 담은 영화들, 그리고 영화 미학의 혁신을 시도한 다양한 영화들을 상영합니다.일찍이 세르반테스는 포르투갈어를 “달콤한 언어”로 묘사한 적이 있습니다. 이번 “포르투갈어권 영화제”를 통해 자신들의 삶의 모습을 때로는 달콤하게, 때로는 가슴 아프게 노래하는 아홉 편의 영화를 만나보시기 바랍니다. 특별히 영화제 기간 중에는 <내가 마지막 본 마카오>의 주앙 페드로 호드리게스 감독에 대한 비평좌담도 준비하였으니 더 많은 참여를 바랍니다. “포르투갈어권 영화제”에 기쁜 마음으로 여러분을 초대합니다. Cinematheque Seoul Art Cinema proudly presents a Lusophone Film Festival from 1st to 7th May, 2014 under the partnership with the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is the very first film festival to show the 9 films from the Portuguese-speaking countries including Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and East Timor as well as Portugal and Brazil. All the screenings are for free. Portuguese is the language that has the 7th largest speaking population in the world, having nurtured the culture in variety and richness. This festival particularly focuses on ‘film’ in Portuguese. Some show the cultural, social or historical themes seriously or humorously; the others try the cinematic challenges. However, you can find the fact that these 9 films have the common value: all of them are chant for life, whether they are sweet or bitter. In addition, these films have rarely been released commercially in Korea, though their cinematic and aesthetic achievement. - All the screenings are for free but you need the ticket issued at the box office for entrance.
- The box office is open 1 hour before the 1st screening begins of the date.
- You can book the seats in advance via e-mail(thequeseoul@naver.com). Please let us know your name, the mobile number, the title and the date. 2 tickets are available for each screening .
- Reservation on the web ticketing site is not available.
- You are now allowed to attend the screening 15 minutes after it begins.
